I made sure to stretch well this time. I did this run non-stop this time. These hills normally kick my butt, but I did better than I thought if I’m below a 9:00 mile. I started to cramp a little towards the end. That little muscle right above your heel. It kept getting tight. Looks like I need to stretch it more. I still find myself having issues with that first 1-2 miles. I have to have little pep talks with myself. You can do it! Keep going! πŸ˜‰ Seems to work. Started using GU also. Bought the Chocolate Outrage at the R-n-R Expo. OMGosh! This stuff is awesome! Forgot to take another with me though, and my water boy kept falling behind. LOL. Looks like I need to invest in a hydration belt. πŸ™‚
