If there’s ANYTHING I’ve learned this last year it’s “there’s no sense in injuring myself”. That’s exactly what I’d be doing if I continued to run. So I’m letting my knee rest & heal for the next 2 weeks. I reached my peak of 18. So now it’s time for my mind to do what it does best..tell my body what to do on race day! It’s only 8.2 farther than my longest run & .4 less than the ‘small’ loop @ Mission Bay. I CAN DO THIS!! šŸ˜‰
