6 cups rolled oats
9 Tbsp. butter
10 Tbsp. honey
1-2 Tbsp. vanilla
1 Tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Salt


Preheat your oven to 350 degrees, and line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.In a large bowl, combine oats and mixture, and stir until all oats, until all oats are well coated and glistening. Spoon half of your granola mixture onto each cookie sheet and spread out into a thin layer.Bake for 10 minutes, turn oats then bake another 10 minutes so it will brown evenly. If it is not to your liking after cooking for 20 minutes, try cooking. Let cool on baking sheet and transfer to an air tight container (I use a half-gallon mason jar). Due to the butter in the recipe, you will want to make sure to eat your granola within two weeks, or store in the refrigerator.
